 At present, China's technology for producing 18650 cells has been very mature, which leads to the very low production cost of 18650 cells. Generally, battery manufacturers can produce 18650 cells, and its coverage in the market is also very wide. Nowadays, many notebooks use 18650 cells, and 18650 cells are also used in a well-known electric vehicle brand in the world. It is precisely because the production technology of 18650 cell is mature, so in the process of use, once there is an internal circuit short circuit, the battery will automatically cut off the circuit to avoid spontaneous combustion or explosion.

 Polymer battery is being paid more and more attention because of its appearance flexibility. The characteristic of polymer battery is that the outer layer is relatively soft. Once there is a short circuit, the heat of the line will break through the outer layer and emit. Therefore, what appears in front of you is the surface bulging phenomenon. Once the outer layer of the charging treasure is found to be bulging, you must not continue to use it. Once there is a problem with polymer battery, the most serious thing is spontaneous combustion, and its power is not enough to cause explosion.

 From the above introduction to the two batteries, we can see that generally, as long as users buy genuine batteries, there will be no explosion. However, once they buy fake and shoddy products, or use charging treasure made of unqualified and non-conforming raw materials, such as making charging treasure with batteries that are about to be scrapped, there is a great possibility of explosion and safety problems.
